Virtual League FAQ
Yes, you can self-report your score if no one else is posting your scores for you. Please be honest.
There is no cost accessed by the SDSSA to participate.
Yes, but we are on the honor system and would prefer you have a third party score for you.
Yes, you may concurrently report the same scores for your local league to the virtual league.
You must shoot the minimum 100 qualifying targets to participate. If this is all you shoot, this will be your final League average.
You are only required to shoot the 100 qualifying targets. You may stop there and let the first four rounds serve as your ending league average. You may chose to continue to contribute toward your league average by shooting UP TO an additional 400 targets
Divisions are determined entirely by your running average. After at least 50% of the shooters have shot their 100 qualifying targets, shooters will be ranked by their average. The number of Divisions will be determined by the SDSSA and based upon the number of participating shooters. The range of each Division will also be determined by the SDSSA. The goal is to group shooters with shooters of similar skill sets.
No, NSSA membership is not required to shoot in the virtual league.
Yes, targets may concurrently be submitted as monthly NSSA targets. Keep in mind the shooter must declare targets as Monthly Targets prior to shooting them. Also, Monthly Targets require two rounds (50 targets) which need to be shot consecutively. Contact your local shoot administrator or Bill Coad at 605-354-1006. There will be an additional charge for NSSA fees of $1.00 per round.
This league is being shot regardless of gauge and no handicap will be assigned. The being said, we trust you will not qualify using the .410 with a low score and then switch to a large gauge in which you are more proficient.
The shooter must declare league targets prior to shooting them.
Each club will have an Administrator whose responsibility it is to report League rounds. Make sure you communicated with your Administrator.
